Light up with LED.

In the past we have dismissed LED, (light emitting diode) lighting as not bright enough and too expensive.

Not any more!

New advances in technology have recently resulted in a product that is probably going to see a lighting revolution.

Over the course of a year we at Malkin Electrical install thousands of halogen down-lights, each one rated at 50 Watts.

The new LED equivalent which emits as much light as a 50 Watt halogen uses a mere 7 Watts. In other words the old halogen down-light uses seven times as much electricity as the new LED.

Not only is there a saving on the energy consumption but lamp life is extended. The new LED lamps will last virtually indefinitely.
